How it Works
The Tsalian Calendar is made up of a 711-day year of eighteen
months. Each month is named after a color:
In a standard year, known as a Gray Year, all of these months
are present. However, the calendar also contains two types of leap
year: White Years, which skip the black month Quğus, and
Black Years, which skip the white month Rocğus.
These years occur on a 203-year cycle. It's helpful to consider this
cycle as being made up of thirteen identical groups of 15 years,
followed by a "rump group" of 8 years:
This system is perfect with respect to their moon, and only drifts
0.002 days every 203 years with respect to their sun.
